Welcome to our Wildlife Experience!

Join us for an immersive wildlife experience in South Africa, where you’ll become part of our sanctuary family!
This is a all inclusive, immersive experience designed for people who want to spend meaningful time behind the scenes of a working wildlife sanctuary, learn from our team, and experience what life is really like caring for wildlife.

Our Package includes:

Food
Accommodation (private room in shared house)
Transfer from and to the airport (OR TAMBO)
Two Activities (safari & elephant interaction at sanctuary)
All on-site activities, and program experiences

Airport fare
Visa application fees if applicable

🐾 About the Experience:

Our unique wildlife volunteer program is an all-inclusive adventure rooted in hands-on animal care, rewilding efforts, conservation support, and personal growth. Each day is filled with purpose, connection, and heartwarming moments.

We hope you’ll join us! By taking part, you’re stepping into a life-changing journey, contributing to vital wildlife conservation, and gaining experience in caring for and when possible rewilding animals. Whether you’re here to learn or make a meaningful impact, we’re excited to invite you to join us!

🌞 What Your Days May Look Like

  • Wildlife & Big Cat Care - Help prepare food and care for our beautiful animals - from majestic big cats to foxes and smaller wildlife, orphaned babies, and more. This includes chopping fruits and veggies, cutting meat, preparing bottles and bottle feeding (if needed), and feeding.

  • Enrichments - Depending on the individual animals and their status, you may join walks, assist with food or item enrichments to give them a stimulating environment!

  • Farm Animal Support  - You’ll learn to care for our lovely farm animals and, if you're experienced (or eager to learn), there's even an opportunity to ride and bond with our horses and foals.

  • Enclosure Care & Special Projects - From building platforms to planting shade trees, each volunteer contributes to making our sanctuary a safe and stimulating environment. You'll also help with things like bush encroachment management or fence maintenance. 

  • Connection & Observation
    Precious time to connect with the animals, observe their natural behaviours, and learn about their individual personalities. You’ll have the opportunity to build a deeper understanding of each animal while discovering your own rhythm here and contributing in ways that suit your skills, interests, and strengths.

    🏡 Accommodation & Meals


    Stay in our beautiful and peaceful and fully equipped 5-bedroom guesthouse on site, surrounded by nature. You’ll have a private room, with cozy living and dining areas to relax and enjoy a game or conversation in the evenings.

    The yard is spacious and comfortable where you can spend your off time relaxing.

    We aim to provide predominantly plant-based meals, with flexibility to accommodate individual preferences where possible. This is to be align with the values of animal and nature friendly practises. If this were to be a problem for you - it is very possible to get a chance to go to town and pickup your own preferred items to add onto the provided food. Breakfast and lunch items are available for self-preparation in the fully equipped kitchen, while dinners are prepared for you. Occasionally, we also enjoy local dining experiences, visits to nearby lodges, restaurants and/or bars on suitable evenings will be planned!
    Entertainment in the house includes a TV with PlayStation, streaming platforms, books, and games for communal enjoyment.

    You’ll also enjoy 1.5 days off per week to rest, explore, or simply recharge. Your activities will be planned on an appropriate day communicated to you during your stay!

    A fully immersive all inclusive wildlife experience, with stays available from a minimum of 2 weeks:

    • Private accommodation

    • Guided safari and elephant sanctuary visit

    • All on-site activities, and program experiences

Lisa and her team’s dedication to the animals is inspiring, and the opportunity to interact so closely with these incredible creatures was humbling. Her cooking is mouth wateringly satisfying. Her love for every animal she encounters burns with an intense passionate flame. An incredibly enjoyable working holiday (never thought that was possible), I felt fulfilled and inspired after each day of volunteer work which is scientifically proven to greatly increase personal happiness.   • I visited Lisa four times now and have the fifth in planing, that alone should speak for it self You work with her employee on morning and afternoon routines where you feed some animals. And between that you work with him or Lisa on projects that they have when you are there. In my case I did shade netting (fence work) for the enclousures. It's not to much and lovely work with one of the nicest guys ever. You can do meat work if you want and prepare food for the big cats and other rescues where you learn a lot about their diet and how to take care of them and you will feed them together with lisa. Depending on the mood of the big cats you will be able to chill with them and Lisa and get to know them better. You will get close to a lot of wildlife and you will never know what to expect. Since there can always be new cute rescues that you can take care of and sometimes even need bottle feeding. Next to the daily stuff there are some activitys near by that you can do like a safari or visit an elephant sanctuary to see all the wild life africa has to offer. When it comes to food you will have everything that you need. She's a great cook btw! My personal opinion is that you will never regret that trip. You will get to know Lisa and her right hand man and feel like you're between friends. You will bond with the most beautiful animals in a way that you can only do there and create once in a lifetime moments that you will never forget. On my first trip alone I had plenty and it got even better with everytime I visited.
