Volunteer at our wildlife sanctuary and make a real difference for South Africa’s native animals. Help with daily care tasks such as feeding, enrichment, habitat maintenance, and basic medical support under experienced staff supervision. Participate in conservation activities including species monitoring, restoration of natural habitats, and community outreach programs that promote coexistence and education.
No prior experience is required-training is provided-but volunteers should be physically fit, comfortable working outdoors in varied weather, and prepared for hands-on work. Typical stays range from two weeks to several months, with flexible schedules to accommodate short- and long-term volunteers.
Accommodation and meals are provided on-site, and a contribution fee supports animal care and conservation projects. We aim to use plant based products, to be as animal and earth friendly as possible, however we do not mind you to get your own animal based product should you need it.
Volunteering at the sanctuary offers meaningful, practical experience in wildlife care and conservation, ideal for animal lovers, students, or anyone wanting to support grassroots environmental efforts while learning from conservation professionals.

June 1/06 - 15/06
